A 23-year-old Joppatowne man was killed in a three-vehicle crash Sunday morning in northern Harford County, Maryland State Police said.
State police said Travis Benedetta, 23, of the 700 block of Joppa Farm Road was northbound on Jarrettsville Pike north of Hess Road shortly after 6 a.m. Sunday when, for unknown reasons, his Volkswagen GTI crossed the center yellow line. Benedetta’s vehicle sideswiped a Toyota 4Runner before striking a Ford Focus head-on. State police said there was no indication that alcohol or other substances played a role in the crash.
The driver of the Focus was transported by ground to Johns Hopkins Bayview Medical Center, according to police; their condition was not immediately available. The driver of the 4Runner was not injured.

It’s Jesse Bane’s fault
shir says
THAT IS HORRIBLE comment from Copenhaver ~ You should be ashamed you yourself!!!!!!!
Travis was a kind young man gone way to soon, but heaven now has another angel.
Copenhaver says
My comment was not meant to demean the person who died but rather to point out the absurdity of the Dagger trolls who seem to blame Sheriff Bane for everything. Sorry if this was too complicated for you to understand.
BBQDad says
What a sincere apology.
In addition, why insult someone just because s/he doesn’t spend his/her life on The Dagger and get where you were coming from with your Bane comment.
Copenhaver says
Ask me if I care.
GoAway says
Yes, I see all kinds of inappropriate postings all over this story. That is to say your first comment and then your very insincere apology.

I had the pleasure of meeting Travis and he was a tremendous young man. He is in a better place. God bless him and God Bless his family too.

God doesn’t exist. Stop believing in invisible men who live in the sky.

Travis was an outstanding young man whom my wife had in Sunday School. We have known his family for four generations. Some of the finst on earth. He had worke a double shift at work and probably fell asleep. The whole Joppatowne Christian family id devastated. Our sincere deep sympathy to his family and many friends.
