Harford County Department of Community Services is accepting applications for a full-time AmeriCorps Mediation and Education Coordination Specialist in the county. The term of service will run from October 1, 2014 to August 30, 2015. The position will serve with the Community Services’ Community Mediation Program, which offers free conflict resolution to Harford County families.
The Mediation Specialist will conduct phone and in-person intakes, from referral partners, for potential mediations, conflict management and communication skills classes with partners to include students and staff as well as work in the Harford County Detention Center promoting mediation. This position will also coordinate all aspects of mediation case management, and mediate cases.
Full-time benefits include:
