From the Aberdeen Police Department:
At about 8:05 PM on July 13, officer responded to the 7-11 Store in the 600 block of S. Philadelphian Blvd. for a reported armed robbery.
Store clerks advised a black male wearing a white hooded sweatshirt, black pants, dark hat and gloves entered the store, displayed a handgun and announced a robbery. The male had what appeared to have a plastic bag covering his face during the robbery. The suspect left with an undisclosed amount of cash. The suspect may have entered a white Ford Taurus which was parked in the area and fled the scene. No one was injured during the incident.
Investigators are working to determine if this robbery is related to a similar robbery that occurred at the 7-11 Store in the block 700 W. Bel Air Ave. on 7-10-14.
