From Harford County government:
The Harford County Historic Preservation Commission has announced its 19th annual award recipients during a ceremony at the historic Liriodendron Mansion in Bel Air. These awards, which are presented each May in honor of National Historic Preservation Month, recognize individuals and organizations that have demonstrated their commitment to stewardship of the County’s historic and cultural resources.
Ladew Topiary Gardens received the Preservation Project Awards for the efforts in the restoration of the Drawing Room at the Ladew Manor House; Mark DiDomenico and John McKeon for their efforts in the adaptive reuse of the historic Baker House; Jan and Michael Stinchcomb, along with Derek McGuirk, in recognition of their efforts in the porch restoration project at the County Landmark Woodside.
James T. Wollon, Jr., AIA received a Preservationist Honor Award for his lifetime contributions in the field of both architecture and historic preservation within Harford County.
A Special Preservation Award was presented to Joan Scovill for her dedication to promoting education and public history at the historic Jerusalem Mill Village. The Friends of Jerusalem Mill received a Preservation Stewardship Award for their devoted stewardship of the historically significant Jerusalem Mill Village.
