From Del. Mary-Dulany James:
Delegate Mary-Dulany James announced today that $452,769 was approved by the Maryland General Assembly to fix potholes and other road repairs in Harford County.
“During our harsh winter, I went to Annapolis determined that Harford County receive its fair share of funding for fixing our roads” said Delegate Mary-Dulany James.
The Maryland General Assembly, through the hard work of Delegate Mary-Dulany James, approved money out of the Transportation Trust Fund specifically for road repairs after the harsh winter.
“I worked closely in a bipartisan manner with Governor O’Malley, Democratic Leadership and Republicans of the General Assembly to secure this important funding for our community” said Delegate Mary-Dulany James.

What? No complaints about taxpayer funds being used to repair the roads? I guess I should give it a bit more time.

After I found out , that you are not a the son of a good friend of mine, I found it safe to say “Sir you are a short sighted IDIOT”!!!..
Thank you for your UNEDUCATED use of self gradification…
Keith Gabel says
I think you misunderstand. I am fine with paying for the public road network in the county, as I use it daily.
The short-sighted idiots of which you speak are the ones who constantly post on this site with cartoonish rants about taxes, teachers, police helicopters, government oppression, Edgewood, Baltimore, etc., rather than the more tangible issues facing the county, like road repair and traffic abatement.

How about the next time ,,, comment on what is posted or replyed apon before jumping the gun. Engage mind, before fingers on a keyboard.. A more adult approach to life

Keith Gabel,
Thank you! Thank you! Let’s keep it our little secret that we steal all the transportation funds to buy votes, then raise the gas tax to replenish the fund. Hooray!!! All we need to do then is call them all deniers and such!!! Ain’t politics grand?
You are now an honorary member of the Burbey Bunch!!!
PissedOffRepublican says
How about just sticking to the point of the “Written” articale , not what YOU read into it , or make of it…. My last point,,,, feel free to argue with yourself. 🙂
Burbey Bunch says
So, if there weren’t a warm butt down there HC would have gotten nothing? So, it takes this hack a huge effort for HC to get a few of the highway dollars they tax us to death for? She redefines the meaning of hard work.
Justin A. Glimmer says
Great work again Delegate James. You are the one that actually “Gets Things Done!” (unlike that washed up, has-been, dinosaur claiming that he does by paying for advertising at the top of “The Dagger” banner).
Burbey Bunch says
Great work! You go girl!! Tolls are doubled for the rest of our lives and next spring regular gas will be $4 per gallon, thanks to the taxes you raised. We will be paying these high taxes and tolls forever! But who cares, you got the county a gigantic $452K. When the gittin’ needed done, you gone and git’ er done it.
Justin A. Glimmer says
Yo…”Burby Bunch”, Your dumb-ass couldn’t be more wrong. First of all, the tolls are raised by the independent, non-political Maryland Transportation Authority (not politicians). It was set up that way intentionally for that reason….to keep politics out of infrastructure revenue requirement sources (although you probably can’t understand or accept that fact).
Also, Delegate James didn’t vote for the Highway Fuel Tax increase. So now what other B.S. load of crap will your volcanic mouth orifice spew out during your next vociferous eruption?
Burbey Bunch says
Glimmer boy,
She voted for the budget and against the gas tax when it was a fait accompli. The Governor is the head of her party and appoints the commission which sticks it to all of us. There is nothing independent about a commission appointed by a politician.
Where were all of her communications against all the tax and spending. Where were her efforts to create support against the one party looting of our resources. She is allowed by the Governor a convenient dodge on selected votes (not needed) because of her county. But she always votes for the budget when the chips are down And, I did check to verify that she voted for the budget.
James says
James never mentions that she voted for every O’Malley budget that raided local highway user funds. This is just slight portion of what we paid in from Harford County. Why do we only see and hear from the princess in election years as w Mary Ann Lisanti the sponsor of the contaminated land buy in havre de grace. These are to good ole girls who need to go.
PoliticalHack says
First of all, thank you Delegate for doing your job and bringing back money to the community. Secondly, I don’t understand the objection to her voting for the State Budget. Would you prefer we have no budget like congress or better like congress sit in gridlock and get paid to do nothing?
Burbey Bunch says
Basis the 1867 Constitution, Maryland is required to pass a balanced budget. It had all the bloated spending. On certain selected issues she can claim she was against them before she was for them. Because in the end she voted to raid the highway fund and she voted to support the spending to increase the revenue for it.

Ummmm, what was/is the purpose of the of the GASTAX increase (?), increases in licenses, so on and so forth? My bad, the “Public Transportation” system in and around D.C. for Prez. OWE’malley. To commute to & from work maybe? Same as the tax payer funds for the APG Rt. 22 & Rt. 715 being delayed/misdirected …….. maybe towards the “Inter County Commuter” route, maybe?
