March was a busy month, including “food workers with infection or diarrhea” and even a suspension for “sanitation violations.”
John Henkel says
So. Gross.
Jaguar Judy says
So no schools received a citation or did you screen them out?
Brian Goodman says
What would make you think we’d screen anything out?
The list provided includes all critical violations doled out by the Health Department in March.
The link at the bottom of the story takes you to the full report showing all facilities that were visited in March, including those that were not cited for any violations.

General question that may have been asked before – any reason the inspection violations from March are posted to the Dagger in May?
BillH says
Doesn’t matter the temps, at some of the places mentioned, all their food is potentially hazardous.
Brian Goodman says
The Dagger received this email/update today:
“I would like to bring an error to your attention.
In the Harford County Health Dept. online inspection postings there is an entry made into the posting of the Silver Spring Mining Co.- Monitoring Inspection performed on March 20, 2014. Category 3 instead of category 4 was checked by myself when I entered that record. Category 3 is: Food workers with infection or diarrhea restricted in accordance with COMAR 10.06.01. Category 4 is: Hands clean and properly washed.
We regret any confusion that this has caused and appreciate your assistance in having this error corrected. Thank You.
