Friends of Harford’s Annual Meeting
April 27, 2014 from 2pm – 4 pm
Abingdon Library, 2510 Tollgate Road, Abingdon.
Guest Speaker: Charlie Conklin, President of the of the Gunpowder Valley Conservancy, past chairman of the Alliance of the Chesapeake Bay, and founding member of the Interfaith Partners for the Chesapeake.
He will illustrate ways property owners can help achieve a restored Chesapeake Bay and describe how nearby communities are doing this successfully.
FOH members will also discuss intrusive lighting (“light trespass”) and our progress toward a solution.
Please come and enjoy refreshments and conversation in the company of your friends and neighbors!
