Good afternoon.
This message is from the Harford County Department of Public Works’ Water and Sewer Division. If you are not a water customer of the Harford County Public Water System, you may disregard as the following information doesn’t pertain to you. The Harford County Public Works Department’s Water and Sewer Division will begin it’s biannual flushing of approximately 4,000 fire hydrants on Monday, April 21, 2014. Flushing will take place between the hours of 7:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m. Division officials say they expect the project ot be completed around September 1, 2014.
There may be a temporary discoloration of the water, changes in water pressure, and/or temporary interruption of water service during this time. If you should encounter cloudy water, avoid using the hot water and run cold water from your tap for up to 15 minutes. If the discoloration persists or if you have any questions, please contact Harford County Water and Sewer Division at 410-612-1612.
