From the Harford County Sheriff’s Office:
Harford County Sheriff’s detectives from the Southern Precinct have charged one suspect and have charges pending against two more subjects in connection with breaking into numerous cars between March 8th and 14th in several Abingdon communities.
Aaron Cooper Starrs, 19, 512 E. South Street, Kennett Square, Pennsylvania has been criminally charged for his role in the thefts and is pending trial for multiple counts of theft, credit card fraud, theft scheme, and rogue and vagabond. Similar charges against a 21 year-old Bel Air man and a 22 year-old Bel Air man who have fled the area are pending. The three suspects, whose surveillance photos were posted to the internet, television and social media platforms, were identified through tips called in to the Harford County Crime Solvers.
These suspects are believed responsible for a series of automobile break-ins where they stole wallets, purses, and credit cards and then fraudulently used the cards to make purchases. Anyone having any additional information or have questions about the cases may contact Detective Michael Yeagy at 443-409-3420. Sheriff’s detectives were pleased with the number of callers who phoned in identifying information and wanted to thank the many who did. Detectives summarized that without those tips these crimes may have gone unsolved.
