From the Town of Bel Air:
Bel Air, Maryland — The Town of Bel Air is pleased to announce that it has launched its new website on Tuesday, March 11, 2014.
The website www.belairmd.org underwent an extensive re?design process by CivicPlus, the leading governmental website provider. The website now has additional functionalities and a more user-friendly interactive layout.
“We hope to engage our residents and visitors in a more interactive fashion and provide a more intuitive method of finding the information for which they are looking”. “The Town has been working with CivicPlus for several months, and we are all very satisfied with the end result”, said Robert Reier, Chair, Board of Town Commissioners.
Citizens and their local government will be able to interact and share information through some of the new featured modules:
–Notify Me: This allows residents to sign in and receive email or mobile phone notifications with just a few easy steps. Selections include: Alert Center, Jobs, News Flash, Calendar and Agenda Center.
–Submit a Request: This allows residents to sign in and submit a request and communicate through emails and track the status of the request.
The Town of Bel Air, with the new website, will be able to increase its community engagement and enhance the communication between residents and the local government.
