From Harford County government:
County Executive Craig announced today the departure of Aaron Tomarchio, who has served as Chief of Staff to the County Executive since 2005. Mr. Tomarchio will join Erickson Living, a national developer and manager of continuing care retirement communities as Director of Corporate Affairs.
“Aaron has been my most trusted aide during my term as County Executive, and he was the first person that I asked to join my staff when I became County Executive in July 2005,” said County Executive Craig.
“Upon taking office, I recognized the need for a Chief of Staff to manage the internal operations of the Office of the County Executive, and to ensure that the policies of my administration were being carried out. Throughout his time here, Aaron has exemplified hard work, loyalty, and dedication to public service. While I will miss his counsel and advice, I am very happy for him and excited for the opportunities that he has in front of him,” County Executive Craig concluded.
“I am truly honored to have served the last 8 ½ years as Chief of Staff to the County Executive, and thankful for the opportunity to see first-hand, all the critical elements that come together to make our county a truly special place to live,” Tomarchio said. “I am proud of what has been accomplished by the County Executive during his tenure, and was privileged to serve him and the people of Harford County.”
Mr. Tomarchio will leave Harford County Government at the end of February.

I wonder if Erikson will pay him to run David’s campaign like the county paid him while working on the campaign trail. Did the other son get his old job back?
Concerned Citizen says
Ridiculous waste of taxpayer money to have a chief of staff for Podunk Harford County. Our local government is not even close to efficient. An obscene amount of money is spent on a bloated administration and it is outrageous that there is likely a relationship between Tomarcchio’s new job and the monstrosity of a continuing care community project we are are going to get shoved down our throats.
