Fire officials are investigating a two-alarm fire which gutted a Joppa home Saturday morning.
The fire was reported just before 10:30 a.m. by the owner of a two-story home in the 800 block of Weisser Court in Joppa, according to a release from the Office of the State Fire Marshal. A total of 75 firefighters from the Joppa-Magnolia, Aberdeen Proving Ground, Bel Air, Fallston, Kingsville, and White Marsh fire companies responded to the scene and brought the fire under control in about an hour.
The fire was traced to an interior entrance hallway, but the cause of the blaze remains under investigation. Damage to the home was estimated at $200,000, while damages to its contents were estimated at $50,000.

Why does the headline say the fire was in Bel Air, when the body of the article says it was in Joppa?
