From the Aberdeen Police Department:
Aberdeen Police are investigating two armed robberies. Officers responded to the first incident at about 10:00 PM on Dec. 30. A male walking on North East Road was approached by two black males; one of the males produced a knife and demanded money. The suspects fled the area after receiving an undisclosed amount of cash. The suspects are only described as black males wearing dark clothing. The victim was not injured.
The second incident occurred at about 11:50 PM in the 400 block of Edmund Street. A pizza delivery driver was approached by a tall thin black male when he returned to his vehicle after making a delivery. The male displayed what appeared to be a long gun and demanded money. The suspect fled after receiving cash. The victim was not injured. The suspect is described as a black male tall and thin wearing ski mask and a black jacket with a hood.
At this time it does not appear the two incidents are related.
