One patient was airlifted to an area hospital in “grave condition” and a second transported by ground following a car crash on Route 40 in Havre de Grace on Christmas Night.
The crash was reported just before 5 p.m. on westbound Route 40 at Oakington Road, according to social media posts by the Harford County Volunteer Fire and EMS Association. An entrapment was initially reported, but two patients were eventually transported from the scene: one in “grave condition” by air to a local hospital and a second person, whose condition was not immediately known, by ground to a regional trauma center, EMS officials said.
Fire and police units continued operations at the scene early Wednesday evening. Check back with The Dagger for more on this breaking story.
