From the Bel Air Police Department:
On Friday December 20, 2013 at 1:30 pm, detectives from the Bel Air Police Department Criminal Investigation Division seized twenty stun guns from “Guys Hunting” a kiosk in the Harford Mall. The kiosk was operated by Estate Brokers of Maryland on Washington Street in Havre de Grace, Maryland.
Harford County Code 260-3 prohibits the sale, lending, possession or use of a stun gun or Taser. Violation of this code is punishable by a fine of up to $500.00 or up to 60 days incarceration. The violation of Maryland law for possession or use of a stun gun or Taser can be found in Maryland Criminal Code 4-109(b).
The investigation is ongoing and charges are pending against the owner of the kiosk.

how the hell u suppose to defend urself?

It helps if you use legal weapons that you can buy at legitimate outlets and not a mall kiosk.

“No law abiding citizen needs a gun.” If all the law abiding citizens would destroy firearms of all kind, crimes with firearms would go down significantly. Let’s face it criminals could get by with knives, hammers, clubs, turkey platters or anything else. In my utopia there will be no crime. If we make crime illegal it too will go away. It takes 10 seconds to get out my legal firearm. It takes 10 to 15 minutes for the police to get to me, if I can call them! Self defense should be a right and a personal responsibility.

What does this have to do with someone selling illegal stun guns out of a kiosk in the mall?
No one said anything about buying or owning firearms.

WHERE DOES CRIME PREVEVTION COME WHY DID THEY JUST TELL THE OWNER NOT TO SELL THEM AND TO REMOVE THEM. DID THE OWNER EVEN KNOW IT AGAINST HARFORD CO. CODE WHEN IT IS LEGAL IN ALMOST ALL OF MARYLAND. IN FACT A.A COUNTY REPEALED STUNGUNS BEING ILLEGAL. HMMM!!!!MAYBE THERE IS SOME OTHER REASON THE PERSON WAS SINGLED OUT.

Since this is a licensed gun dealer involved they should have known better. However wouldn’t it had been better for the police to have told them it was illegal and to cease and desist and then spend there time working on other cases. Until I read it here I thought possession of a stun gun was only illegal in Balto. City, PG and Montgomery and maybe Baltimore county, you know areas where taxpayers are endangered targets of opportunity for government fed and bred criminals.
Silly me, time to get out of Dodge.

I suppose since it was guns it makes it less of a crime than credit card fraud. Oh wait, that would be hypocrisy on the part of law abiding 2nd Amendment loving gun owners everywhere. Please give my gun dealer a break for violating the law. He’s not as bad as those nasty drug dealers in Edgewood – he sells guns.

It’s apparent the residents of maryland are not supposed defend themselves with anything other than their fists. No guns, no stun guns, no folding knives over 4 inches long. Yet, the crooks here and everywhere else in this country have access to all lethal weapons and law makers are doing nothing about it. It’s the good, honest, hardworking men and women of this country that are sanctioned. I’m baffled, seriously.

Finally Bel Air PD found a use for their tactical pants, jump boots and black cars. Too bad the SWAT team was not up and running yet.
