The Fallston Cougars rode a raucous home crowd to a big victory over the visiting North Harford Hawks Friday night, 47-30.

North Harford scored their first basket with 4:30 left in the second quarter, as the Hawks trailed 20-7 at halftime. Nic Hammer’s two point basket put the Hawks on the board, and Collin Keating and Ryan Feiss each scored a bucket as well, giving the Hawks their first seven points.
The Cougars exploded for 18 points in the third quarter. Ben Ladanski and Jordan Greenwood each tallied six points in the quarter, and Travis Greenwood nailed a three pointer. The Hawks had their biggest offensive quarter of the night, scoring 13 points, including six from Keating. However, the Hawks were never able to get the deficit to single digits after the first quarter.
In the fourth, the Cougars kept their lead, going 7-for-12 from the free-throw line to seal the win.
