A Special Exception request, Case Number 5814, HARFORD COUNTY AIRPORT OWNERS GROUP, INC. ET AL – north side Aldino Road, Churchville, has been filed to operate a general aviation airport. A variance to disturb non-tidal wetlands and the 75 foot Natural Resources District buffer in the Agricultural and General Industrial Districts has also been filed.
Public Hearing Date/Time: Wednesday, Dec 16, 2013 at 6:30 pm
Hearing Location: County Council Chambers (first floor), 212 S. Bond Street, Bel Air.

There are currently multiple additional hearing dates scheduled for this project, including Dec 18 and January 6, 13, 15 and 22. We will not send alerts for the follow-up meetings. This is going to be Jets flying. Citizens in Churchville need to be aware that they are going to fly jets in and out. It is a Public Airport so it could be substantial over time.
