From Harford County government:
Harford County Government has a new voice. It’s called “Harford Happenings,” a new television show airing exclusively on Harford Cable Network, hosted by Public Information Officer Sherrie Johnson.
Each month, Ms. Johnson will bring you an inside look at Harford County Government, its departments and people.
The goal of the show is to educate the public on the activities of their government. “We want to let people know the positive things that are happening in Harford County Government and I am so excited to have this opportunity to showcase our initiatives,” said Sherrie Johnson, Spokesperson for Harford County Government.
Harford Cable Network is producing the show utilizing new technology, including the debut of its first virtual set.
Harford Happenings premiers in November with a look at tourism, recycling, and the budget process in Harford County. It will air on Harford Cable Network throughout November on Mondays and Thursdays at 1:30pm and Wednesdays and Saturdays at 7:00pm.

um question. says
Don’t we have the internet and websites like this for such purposes? How much does this cost? I’d rather my tax dollars not going towards this kind of government sponsored propaganda
W.T.F.? says
I’m with you “um question”. Here we have a new employee (from the TV business) specifically designed to showcase the Craig administration’s accomplishments, getting a venue to showcase her chops AND promote the wanna-be governor at our expense. No matter what the cost, it’s a waste of money! 🙁
