From the Bel Air Police Department:
Bel Air Police responded to the Firestone Tire Center on Saturday September 14, 2013 at 1123 a.m. for a report of a vehicle (van) into the building. Responding officers and members of the Bel Air Volunteer Fire Company gave aid to those who were injured and secured the scene. Harford County Sheriff’s Office and Maryland State Police provided traffic control and additional support.
Three people were transported to area hospitals. The driver of the van was transported by Bel Air Volunteer Fire Company Ambulance to Upper Chesapeake Medical Center. In addition, Maryland State Police Medivac took a woman inside the business to Shock Trauma, and a man inside the business was also transported by Bel Air Volunteer Fire Company Ambulance to Upper Chesapeake Medical Center, he was later transferred to John’s Hopkins Bayview.
At this time none of the injuries appear to be life threatening. Building inspectors from Harford County and the Town of Bel Air responded to inspect the building.
