Aberdeen Police Seek Suspects in Home Invasion

From the Aberdeen Police Department:

[August 1, 2013- Aberdeen MD] On 7-31-13 at about 11:00 p.m. officers responded to the 200 block of Schmechel Street to investigate a reported armed home invasion.

Two black male suspects approached the residents out side of the home near the side door. One of the suspects was armed with what appeared to be a short automatic rifle. The suspects demanded cash and forced the victims into the kitchen area of the house. Another occupant of the home heard the commotion, went to investigate and was confronted by the suspects as she entered the kitchen. One victim told the suspects the police had been called, the two suspects ran from home and fled on foot. No one was injured and no property was taken. The following are descriptions of the suspects:

Suspect #1 is a light skinned black male 20-30 years of age, approximately 6’ tall 165 lbs, wearing a tight white t-shirt, black gloves, a black “beanie”. He was armed with the rifle and was wearing a mask that covered the lower part of his face.

Suspect #2 is a black male 20-25 years of age, approximately 5’ 5” tall 130 lbs, wearing a long baggie white t-shirt, black gloves, a black “beanie” wearing a mask that covered the lower portion of his face.
