From the Harford County Sheriff’s Office:
[July 20, 2013, Jarrettsville, MD] — On Saturday July 20, 2013, Michael Brian Myers, 42, having no fixed address was arrested and charged by Sheriff’s deputies with burglary, theft and escape from custody after breaking into a shed in the 1300 block West Jarrettsville Road, Forest Hill, and then escaping custody.
At approximately 12:38 am on July 20th, deputies were called to the intersection of Phillips Mill Road and West Jarrettsville Road in Jarrettsville, for a report of an intoxicated subject driving a tractor on the roadway.
Responding deputies canvassed the area but were unable to find the subject. At 4:53am, deputies were called back to the area for a similar complaint. While canvassing the area, deputies received information the individual driving the tractor was now pulling a snow blower. During the search deputies located Myers, along with the tractor and the snow blower, in the 1200 block of West Jarrettsville Road in Forest Hill. Myers initially provided a false identification to deputies. However, after deputies determined his correct name it was learned he was wanted on an open warrant for violation of probation. He was placed under arrest on the warrant and secured in the back of the patrol car.
Deputies believed the theft of property occurred in the 1300 block of West Jarrettsville Road and responded to that location to verify the theft. After speaking to two property owners they located the victim, Henry Lobdell, who reported the items recovered by deputies had been taken from his shed. He identified the items as a Craftsman Lawn Tractor and an Ariens Snow Blower. The value of the theft was approximately $800.
While investigating the crime scene, and speaking with the victims, deputies discovered Myers had escaped through the rear passenger side window of the patrol car. An immediate search of the area, which included additional uniformed deputies, police K-9 units, and the Maryland State Police Aviation Unit, resulted in Myers being apprehended a short time later in the area of West Jarrettsville and Cooptown Roads. He was taken into custody without further incident.
It is unclear how Myers opened the rear window in the patrol car. The patrol car has been taken out of service and investigators will attempt to determine how Myers managed to escape. After his arrest, Myers was taken to the Harford County Detention Center, where he was held on $15,000 bail.

I think he slithered right out of it with the grease from that mullet.
Jack Rabbit says
There had to be at least 10 officers with vehicles and the MSP chopper looking for this dirt ball that stole a tractor in forest hill. The helo had to stop the search because it ran low on fuel around 10:00 Am.
Meanwhile the murders continue east of the 95 corridor.
Infantile says
What murders occurred in the Rt. 40 corridor? Oh right, none.
Ok? says
Yeah, I agree. Only thing I been dealing with in my community off Rt. 40 are rednecks who are still shooting off fireworks every night going on a month after 4th of July.
Becky says
He escaped to go steal an above ground pool, cause he already got a tractor for summer mowing, and a snow blower for the winter season!
LOL~

This poor soul was set up, he was on his way to mow some grass, the snow blower was a back up in case he ran into a blizzard. These charges are total BS.

I dont know guys. He looks innocent to me.
I wish he would come and steal some of these old abandoned beater cars that people let rust on the streets, east of the 95 corridor.
Hanley Lamarr says
Luther, didn’t want to get sued for a copywrite infringement. Didn’t think anyone would catch the name, should I change it to Hedley?
Luther Lingus says
What the hell are you worried about? This is 1874. You’ll be able to sue *her*.
In case you may not have known the “her” refers to Hedy Lamarr a very famous actress from 1930-1958. The joke was written into the movie because Hedy sued Mel Brooks for invasion of privacy for using her name in the film. Brooks settled the case out of court and wrote in the line as a joke because the movie takes place in 1874.
The best scene in that movie (in my opinion) is when Madeline Kahn has sheriff Bart in her dressing room and she is about to seduce him. Hedley knocks on the door after she blows out the candles. Kahn bangs the coffee table and says “God Damn It” and opens the door. Hedley asks “how is it going?” and she replies “he is like wet sauerkraut in my hands”. Hedley, as he reaches his hand down into her top exclaims “just let me get a little feel”.
classic
