From the Mason Dixon Fair:
Delta, Pa – Beef Superintendents – Tom & Tracy Raab recently reported that Exhibitors from Maryland and Pennsylvania competed for local honors during the Mason Dixon Junior and Open Heifer Show held Wednesday, July 10th 2013.
Timothy Hopkins from Pylesville, MD brought home Supreme Champion Female with his Charolais heifer for both the Junior Show and the Open Show which is the best of all breeds exhibited. What makes this so great is that the heifer he showed is a locally bred granddaughter of past National Champion bull, SSF Corks 5J White Squall ET, which is owned by Bob and Judy Tibbs from Havre de Grace, MD. Timothy is now preparing to compete in the Harford County Farm Fair, Maryland State Fair, and the Keystone Show which is a National show for the Charolais breed.
