Excellent subject matter of this month’s meeting. I hope to attend…..

I hereby invite Ryan Burbey to attend. After all, education is his gig. Coming Ryan?
Ryan Burbey says
I actually already sent a message to the Harford Campaign for Liberty. If I will be given time on the agenda, I will attend, speak and answer questions.

Campaign for Liberty always includes a Q&A session after each keynote speaker as well as an open mike period. Mr. Burbey is just like any other attendee. He can take advantage of both opportunities to speak. Perhaps he can generate interest in his topic.
Ryan Burbey says
I will be there then. Hopefully they will give me some agenda time.

On second thought I won’t be attending. I was interested in listening to unadulterated information about Common Core. I’ve been in attendance at a community meeting where Mr. Burbey had the audacity to take up precious time meant for the discussion of neighborhood development. Instead we had to hear his pleas for money, more money, we must have all your hard earned money or your children will suffer at the hands of their teacher(s). I’m a proponent of making decisions based on data from all sources. What I’m vehemently opposed to is propaganda. Sorry, you can count me out!

Please don’t miss this opportunity to learn more about Common Core from a homeschool parent and VP of an educational freedom group. You will certainly know more about the topic by the evening’s end.
Jaguar Judy says
If people who attend can’t discriminate between facts and bs then shame on them. I have no problem with Mr. Burbey attending. I agree with very little of what he says but this is America and he has a right to speak if the group invites him. Personally, I can make up my own mind. Let’s not be afraid to listen to those who disagree with us. Don’t be like the Dem/Libs who can’t tolerate an opposing point of view.
K says
You enjoy him for me. I prefer my sources of information to be practical, honest, and useful. I don’t attend C4L meetings to hear nonsense. My time is much more valuable. I’m my own person and don’t attach labels to my beliefs; democrat/conservative or republican/liberal.
