Harford County Libraries are cooling centers for county residents in need.

TOLLGATE YARD TRIM DROP-OFF SITE WILL CLOSE DURING THE FARM FAIR (July 27)

Meet me in my mobile council office from 10 am till Noon on Route 924 (Emmorton Road) at the entrance to Glengate Community just north of Patterson Mill Road.

JULY 20 – FLEA MARKET AT THE LIRIODENDRON. This is the second fundraiser held by the foundation to raise money for necessary repairs to the 1898 Summer Home of Dr. Howard Kelly due to hurricane Sandy. Activities begin at 9 AM and last till 2PM.

JULY 21 – BEL AIR SUMMER CONCERT. Humbert Amphitheatre at 7 PM. The Upper Chesapeake Chorus.

JULY 21 – CONCERT IN THE PARK AT HAVRE DE GRACE. The Glouster City String Band. Mummers music and other selections from this traditional string band. Admission is free. Tydings Park at 7:30PM

JULY 24 – WEDNESDAY SUMMER CONCERT. At the Humbert Amphitheatre featuring REGENTS JAZZ ENSEMBLE. Show time 7 p.m.

JULY 25 THRU JULY 28 – HARFORD COUNTY FARM FAIR AT THE EQUESTRIAN CENTER ON TOLLGATE ROAD. Animals, Pretty Girls vie for Harford County Farm Queen, Tractor Pulls, Pig Races, Carnival with Rides and games. Farm Fair hours are 10 a.m. to 10 p.m., Sunday 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Go to www.farmfair.org .
