Kathy Gaeng of The Arc Northern Chesapeake Region Recognized as a Champion for Children & Youth

Kathy Gaeng, Clinical Social Worker at The Arc Northern Chesapeake Region was recognized as one of several Champions for Children & Youth at an Award Ceremony at Harford Community College on June 19, 2013. Kathy was nominated for this award by Shawn Kros, Executive Director of The Arc Northern Chesapeake Region where Kathy currently works in the Treatment Foster Care Program.

Kathy has spent five decades working in child welfare and even returned to the field after her retirement in 2003. She is committed to providing quality relationships and support to the children on her caseload and continually goes above and beyond to provide the highest level of care. The Arc Northern Chesapeake is honored to have Kathy as part of the Treatment Foster Care team.
