The Board of Education of Harford County has scheduled a Legislative Roundtable to provide an opportunity for elected officials to meet with members of the Board of Education, the Superintendent and Leadership Team members. Key topics in public education will be discussed, including the new Common Core State Standards, PARCC assessments, and an explanation of the OPEB (Other Post-Employment Benefit) fund. Participants will receive a brief presentation and have an opportunity to dialogue on the topics provided. This meeting is open to the public and will be live-streamed on the school system website at www.hcps.org.
