From Harford County government:
The Office of Economic Development and Tourism has announced Harford County’s Fourth Annual Restaurant Week, which will be held June 3 – 15, 2013.
Restaurants throughout Harford County will be offering prix fixe (price fixed) menus consisting of 3 course meals starting at $20.13 plus beverages, tax and gratuity. Limited service restaurants may be offering other special values. All Restaurant Week menus can be found on www.harfordmd.com.
While out for Restaurant Week, diners should post about their meal and upload a picture to the Harford Tourism Facebook page to enter the gift card giveaway contest- Harford County Love it! Look for the QR (quick response) code at participating Restaurants Contest cards for quick entry to the contest or ask your server for a contest card. The contest is only active during Restaurant Week. The more you dine during Restaurant Week the more chances to win as the week concludes with a grand prize drawing of up to $1,000 worth of restaurant gift cards from participating restaurants.
Tourism Manager, Wini Roche, remarked about changes for this year and that the 2013 Restaurant Week will be the most widely promoted yet with a rigorous social media component being added. “We are excited to see Restaurant Week go viral this year as people actually share or upload what’s for dinner!”
“Several new restaurants joined in the promotion this year,” added Roche. “We encourage people to dine out several times during the promotion and take advantage of the excellent value!” All participants and their menu selections can be viewed at www.harfordmd.com.
The Office of Tourism coordinates Restaurant Week in partnership with local restaurants and promotes the week through radio, print, social media and on-line advertising.
For a list of the 2013 participating restaurants and their menu selections, please visit www.harfordmd.com, where updates will be posted regularly.

Yes, and they want a new hotel tax so that the harford county tourism office can have more money to blow on lame activities.

Well, I am very happy to see a list of the restaurants this year. Last year, I couldn’t find a list anywhere. This year I will be happy to participate.
Mr. Moderate says
The list actually includes over a dozen restaurants of various types and locales.
It’s good to see that the County tourist agency occasionally does something. My impression is that Harford’s tourist agency is among the worst in the state, including compared to Cecil County, which has far fewer reasons to visit.
The real money in tourism lies in attracting out-of-area visitors (motels, restaurants, museums, attractions, etc). Too much attention seem to be directed at telling county residents what’s going on in the county (“Where’s Wini!”). Maybe Harford Tourist agency lacks the funding all other counties seem to have. Thank heaven the Havre de Grace people take care of their own publicity.

Winne Roche (SP) is the director of Harford County Tourism. She doesnt do a very good job. I see adds in several magazines that depict Maryland Counties, and Harford is always absent. From my understanding the state reimburses the counties for the adds. Should be an easy fix. Where’s Winne????????????????????????????????????????????????
