From Del. Kathy Szeliga:
Thank You!
Last Saturday’s Town Hall was a BIG success! Thank you to those who were able to join us at Jacksonville Elementary School. It was wonderful to see so many people come out to share their thoughts and concerns and hear about the Maryland General Assembly’s work during the 90 Day Session.
We are planning to continue our Town Halls. Stay tuned for information about our next get-together.
Leadership Update!
On Tuesday, April 30, the House of Delegates Republican Caucus held a Caucus election in Annapolis.
Your new leadership team in the Maryland House of Delegates is…..
Delegate Nic Kipke (Pasadena) – Minority Leader
Delegate Kathy Szeliga (Balt & Harford Cos) – Minority Whip
Nic and I are humbled and honored to be elected to these leadership positions. We ran as a team, Nic for Leader and I for Whip. We have hit the ground running and are putting some new ideas into action already.
Tony O’Donnell (Southern MD) and Jeannie Haddaway-Riccio (Eastern Shore) served our caucus well as the former Leader and Whip of the House GOP Caucus. We are grateful for their leadership and dedicated service to the House of Delegates and Maryland Republican Party. We know that Tony and Jeannie will continue to be a huge asset and vital part of our efforts in the General Assembly, House Republican Caucus and across our great state.
Havre de Grace this weekend!
Beginning today, Friday, through Sunday afternoon, there will be events to commemorate Havre de Grace’s involvement in the War of 1812. For more information, Click Here. The weather is looking great for a fun weekend of activities.
As always, please do not hesitate to call on me if I can ever be of assistance to you and your family. I appreciate your support and encouragement as I represent you in Annapolis and across our fine state.
THANK YOU!
Kathy
