Maryland State Delegate Glen Glass, (R-Harford, Cecil), announced today that he is awarding members of the Havre de Grace Family Self-Sufficiency program $2,000 college scholarships. “I fundamentally believe that what you learn in school helps you become a better human being. That is why it is a pleasure and an honor to award these scholarship’s to members of our community who are working for a better future through education and sustainable families” said Glass.
The Maryland Legislature gives out scholarships every year. You can receive an application by emailing glen.glass@house.state.md.us

I would like to publicly thank Del. Glass on behalf of the participants at the Havre de Grace Housing Authority Family Self-Sufficiency program. Last fall Del. Glass came to our Family Self-Sufficiency recognition program, and we were honored as recipients. Del. Glass has showed his support in our community and is determined to continue. Thank you Del. Glass for being a leader for Havre de Grace.
