Do you wonder what happens inside a Lodge of Freemasons? Do you have questions about all of the mysterious symbols Masons use – on everything from car bumpers to U.S. Currency? Was you grandfather or Uncle a Freemason and you’ve got questions about what the fraternity is all about? Can Freemasonry really make GOOD men BETTER?
Answer all of your questions this weekend when the Masonic Lodges of Harford County, along with all the Lodges in Maryland hold an open house on Saturday April 6th from 8am–4pm.
All are welcome as the Lodge doors will be open for guided tours, explanations of some of Masonry’s symbols and many Lodges will even be offering breakfast and lunch for folks who show up to take a look.
There will also be people on hand from other Masonic groups such as the Eastern Star, Demolay International for young men, the Scottish & York Rite, Rainbow Girls, and Shriner’s International. Members of these groups will answer questions about what these groups do for the community and how you can become a part of their good work.
Men interested in becoming Freemasons will be able meet some of the Lodge officers and start the application process on site.
