Meeting Reminder

At the April 3rd meeting of the NHDC, our program will feature Rich Norling, member of the Harford Community College Board of Directors. Rich will speak to our members about the role that Harford Community College will provide in higher education to Harford County citizens. It will be a discussion involving the addition of an affiliation with Towson University and it’s 4 year degree programs.
Why don’t you guys invite the governor you helped elect to get him to explain why he is sitting on the money for Towson at HCC? After all, don’t you have any influence with your buddy now that he is re-elected? I guess he didn’t respect you in the morning after all.
I’ve got to say, why don’t any local republican groups have any speakers of this type? At least the subject matter sounds interesting…..
I presume thugs, welfare queens, handout artists, gun-grabbers, abortion advocates, Christian bashers, illegal aliens, same sex lovebirds and the rest of your party’s whackadoodle base are of the same opinion. LOL.
@Otto..forgot middle class, taxpaying homeowners, legal residents and mainstream Americans, union members, lesbians and gays, law abiding citizens whom do not want whack jobs getting their hands on weapons, the young, students and the elderly. Did I mention that all those people vote, and they don’t vote republican’t either. See how many more elections will your Bible thumping, gun wearing, homophobic and racist party will get in elections to come?

Our Democratic Party welcomes all to participate and express their opinion as to their ideas, thoughts and preferences with no ideas as to how they should think according to their race, financial status, nationality, sexual orientation, age or working status. You can choose to ignore what Otto said, but I was just merely responding to his characterization that anyone that is not Republican, must then fit into that group. I was merely doing the same as SARCASM, but if the shoe fits…

Oh, by the way, you might ask Norling why the Governor and Franchot want to punish Harford County students by holding up the building of the Towson University program at HCC. I am sure that you can all come up with something. Finally, you would fit right in my shit hole.
This was an interesting exercise. My question was specific as to the organization, the speaker, and what I assume will be the topic of Mr. Norling’s speech. When did a local community college and a state college, combining forces, become partisan? The responses to my query are an excellent example of why so many folks who are disgusted with the democrats hypertaxation and other problematic policy/legislative tactics and are seeking other political avenues won’t be caught dead at a republican function.
Why does a simple announcement of a community event have to generate hateful responses?
It’s not a community event, Moderate, it’s a gathering of the poster children for what is wrong with our society and culture.

As a follow up to Alex’s post on the Towson at HCC, maybe you guys could also ask MOM why it is so important to bail out Towson baseball and soccer while Towson spends millions on sports fields. No, its not that large of an amount, but MOM finds money for what makes him look good but can’t find money at all when he wants to punish those that disagree with him.
You parents of high school kids, when your kids want to go to Towson remember that it was MOM who made them drive back and forth to Towson everyday putting the new higher taxed gas in the car and spending more time on the road rather than saving all of that time and money by being able to drive to Towson @ HCC.
