From the Bel Air Police Department:
The Bel Air Police Explorer Program is hosting a one (1) week long, Youth Police Camp this summer. The camp is designed for children who are interested in the law enforcement profession. Campers will participate in classroom and hands-on activities with the many different officers from various units within the Bel Air Police Department including a daily regimen of physical training.
There will be demonstrations from the Police K-9 Unit, Sheriff’s Office Marine Unit and Motorcycle Unit. The campers will be required to wear a uniform consisting of a t-shirts with camp logo and a baseball cap. Cost $ 40. All checks and money orders are to be made out to the Town of Bel Air.
The camps will be held at the Bel Air Armory @ 37 N. Main Street Bel Air.
Date: June 17th to June 21th
Time: 9:00am – 1:00pm
Age Requirement: Must be 10-14 years old (boys or girls)
Camp limits: 1st come, first serve, 32 student limit!
