From the Office of the State Fire Marshal:
HARFORD COUNTY, MD (March 14, 2013) – Deputy State Fire Marshals have arrested the second suspect involved with the November 24, 2012 fire that caused an estimated $1,500 damage to a 2006 Hyundai 4-door sedan owned by Leanne McClain. The fire originally occurred at 12:07 a.m. at 1403 Cranberry Road in Aberdeen, Maryland.
Brenden Anthony Johnson (20) turned himself in yesterday at the Harford County Detention Center. Investigators served him an arrest warrant for his involvement in the burning of the vehicle. He was charged with Arson 2nd Degree, Malicious Burning 1st Degree and Malicious Destruction of Property. Johnson is currently being held on a $50,000 bond.
The first suspect arrested in this case, Joel Michael Fonzi (18), remains at the Harford County Detention Center on a $250,000 bond. He faces charges of Arson 2nd Degree, Malicious Burning 1st Degree, Malicious Destruction of Property and Failure to Comply with Peace Order.
