A moped operator was hospitalized in grave condition Sunday afternoon after being struck by a deer in Forest Hill, EMS officials said.
The victim, a man in his late 50s, was driving his moped in the area of Route 24 and Grier Nursery Road in Forest Hill when he was struck by a deer, according to Rich Gardiner, spokesman for the Harford County Volunteer Fire and EMS Association.
The man was transported by Maryland State Police medevac helicoper to a regional trauma center in grave condition, Gardiner said.
