From Harford County Government:
(Bel Air, MD) – The Harford County Department of Public Works, Division of Highways and Water Resources, has announced a change in the director of traffic flow for Patterson Mill Road.
Effective on or about Wednesday, February 13, 2013, the one-way traffic flow on Patterson Mill Road will be reversed and traffic will now be able to drive from the bottom of Patterson Mill Road towards Wheel Road. Traffic will no longer be permitted to enter Patterson Mill Road from Wheel Road.
Due to some confusion with the current one-way traffic flow, this change in direction is warranted and will have the added benefit of reducing the response time to the Cedarday community from the Patterson Mill fire substation. Furthermore, the change in the direction of traffic flow was agreed to be all residents along the bottom portion of Patterson Mill Road which are directly affected by the traffic pattern.
The Harford County Department of Public Works has placed signage at Wheel Road and Patterson Mill Road in an effort to inform motorist of the impending change in the traffic pattern.
Anyone with questions regarding the change in traffic pattern on the bottom portion of Patterson Mill Road should contact the Department of Public Works, Division of Highways and Water Resources, Monday through Friday during normal business hours at 410-638-3509.
