From the Aberdeen Police Department:
January 30, 2013- Aberdeen, MD- On 1-30-13 at about 12:57 a.m. officers responded to the Shell Gas Station, 1026 Middleton Road, to investigate a reported robbery that had just occurred.
A black male wearing a mask and gloves entered the business, brandished a knife and announced a robbery. After receiving an undisclosed amount of cash the suspect fled the area on foot.
Several officers who were working an Operation Safe Street detail assisted in canvassing the area. Officers located a subject in the area of Warwick Drive that fit the description of the robbery suspect. Officers were able to match the subject stopped to security footage captured at the scene of the robbery.
Police have charged a 14 year old from Aberdeen as a juvenile with the robbery. The juvenile has been transported to the Hickey School. No one was injured during the incident.

his butt needs to be in the detention center. he committed an adult crime and needs to do adult time. I was robbed at knife point in 1984 and the police knew who did it and only said, “Oh that’s just him”. They said it was my word against his. If you wanna play with the big boys…..get ready to be a big boy….Where are the save Robbie now people. Of wait, its an african american (doesn’t make a difference to me). You can be white, yellow, tan, black and your still a criminal for committing crime and making victims fear.
He’ll be in jail for murder before he’s 21 and be out on the streets again a few years after. One thing is 4 sure. He won’t get the death penalty regardless of the severity of the crime.
