A man robbed a bank in Street Thursday afternoon, police said, the second person in two days to commit a daylight heist in Harford County and elude capture.
According to Harford County Sheriff’s Office spokesman Edward Hopkins, a male suspect wearing all black clothing entered the NBRS Bank branch in the 3500 block of Conowingo Road in Street at approximately 4:08 p.m. Thursday, displayed a handgun, and demanded money. The suspect took an undisclosed amount of money and fled on a motorcycle southbound on Route 136.
It was not clear whether the incident was related to the Wednesday afternoon armed robbery of the U.S. Post Office in Benson, Hopkins said.
The Sheriff’s Office continued to investigate the incident Thursday evening, with further details expected.
