Bel Air police are investigating the death of a man found in an apartment on Baltimore Pike Sunday morning, but have not determined how he died.
Rodney Holmes Smith, 52, formerly of Connecticut, was found in an apartment on the 200 block of Baltimore Pike just after 8 a.m. Sunday morning, according to the Bel Air Police Department.
Bel Air investigators, working with the Harford County Sheriff’s Office Criminal Investigation Division and Crime Lab Unit, are looking into the circumstances of Smith’s death. Preliminary information has not revealed a cause, motive, or suspects in the incident, police said.
Bel Air police said the death is not believed to be connected to any previous incidents which occured in the town, including reports of a large fight which broke out at the Dark Horse Saloon in downtown Bel Air several hours before Smith’s body was discovered.
