From Harford County government:
Harford County Executive David R. Craig will announce the “Craig Administration Priorities – Final Two-Year Program” on Tuesday, December 4, 2012.
As the Craig Administration completes its final two years, there are several major issues and projects outstanding that it hopes to accomplish so that the county can continue to be best prepared for the future. These priorities include topics such as public education, public safety, transportation infrastructure, solid waste management, land use and assistance to community agencies among others.
A simple plan says
The Plan:
position Craig to run for governor
iminbelair says
He can run all he wants. Will never win. No Republican, especially from Harford County, will be governor of Maryland. We aren’t big enough or important enough to carry much weight around the state. Therefore, I believe Craig is aiming for something else, which he’ll be more likely to get by just running for gov. Contacts? State exposure? Networking? Will be interesting to see what happens!

wonder if harkins with have a job for him?
Bob says
Who says he’s running as a republican?

are you serious? Where have you been?
D says
What will Craig’s legacy in Harford County be? Will he be know as the CE that let big box stores destroy our downtown Bel Air and local businesses? Actions speak louder than empty words sent to residents in a letter.
TR says
Big box stores took over Bel Air long before Craig took office in 2005. I’m sure if someone ran the numbers, they’d find that more big box stores came in during the terms of Freeman, Rehrmann, and Harkins. The county hasn’t been the same since the unfortunate wave of migrants from Baltimore City and Baltimore County took off in the 1970s and 1980s.
Geranimo says
Harford County not same since unfortunate wave of white man in 1770s. How!
Common Sense says
Yes all those warring tribes of Indians who killed each other and enslaved individuals of other tribes.
It was the white man who destroyed all that kindness, benevolence and fellowship of the tribes. We could have learned so much from the peaceful Indian culture.
It’s really too bad that Genghis Khan didn’t expand his empire to the Americas. It would have been so much better if he had beat the white man to the new world.
Geranimo says
2 Stabbed at Dark horse last night. I guess no smok’um peace pipe.
Common Sense says
Main street died a long time ago.
So you dweebs who long for the bygone
era of a bucolic downtown full of small
merchants who could fulfill your every
need.
I got news for you they didn’t fulfill
your every need and they were difficult
to do business with.
If these downtown merchants were so good
they’d still be in business.
Oh but wait some of them are there called
Walmart. Lil old Sam Walton with his
neighborhood store did well, grew and put
the crappy merchants out of business.
republican says
Gee you must be a republican too….nice choice of words. So take your vote and go somewhere else. These are hard working people in businesses in bel air and you seem to think dweebs is a good why to comment and what about crappy businesses. Guess your voting for the fiscal cliff to continue. Maybe Craig can take you with him when he gets a cushy job with the state and only looks at Harford County as a distant memory. Where’s Harkins when ya need him. Oh that’s right, he has a cushy job with the state.
D says
It is so easy to be a blog posting hater and much more difficult to get involved and have a positive impact in your community. What is your legacy? How are you leaving your community a better place? Do tell!
D says
Because we are already overrun with big box retailers is all the more reason to not bring in any more (or expand them to mammoth size). No one is talking about the “Bel Air of olde”, it is gone forever. But if Bel Air wants to have a vibrant community with a cultural arts center, parks, pedestrian and biker access, local ownership, and a walkable downtown we should all support a different approach. So again, what will Craig’s legacy be? What has he done to foster community and build Bel Air and the county? Like the article title states, “Craigs Agenda”, not the residents.
HDG says
You should move to Havre de Grace.
Chris says
So, this is an announcement to let us know that the administration will be making an announcement tomorrow. Great, I will be waiting with baited breath.

Write more, thats all I have to say. Literally, it seems as though you relied on the video to make your point.
You clearly know what youre talking about, why throw
away your intelligence on just posting videos to your site when you could
be giving us something enlightening to read?
