Due to disruption from Hurricane Sandy, the Bel Air Drama Company has changed the performance schedule for their production of “13: the Musical”.
From Harford County Public Schools:
The Bel Air Drama Company’s (Bel Air High School) fall production dates/times for “13: the Musical” have changed. Thursday’s performance (tonight) has been cancelled in order to allow the group to have a final dress rehearsal. The show will open tomorrow night (Friday) at 7:00 p.m. There will be two performances on Saturday (2:00 p.m. matinee and 7:00 p.m.). In addition, a 2:00 p.m. matinee show has been added on Sunday.
Tickets can still be purchased on-line until midnight prior to each performance for $10 each. Visit www.belairdrama.org or www.seatyourself.biz/belairdrama to purchase advanced tickets. Seats will also be available at the door for $12.
13: the Musical has been called “A grown-up story about growing up.” When his parents get divorced and he’s forced to move from New York to a small town in Indiana, Evan Goldman just wants to make friends and survive the school year. Easier said than done. The star quarterback is threatening to ruin his life and his only friend, Patrice, won’t talk to him. The school freak sees an opportunity for blackmail and someone is spreading the nastiest rumors. With an unforgettable rock score from Tony Award-winning composer Jason Robert Brown, 13 is a hilarious, high-energy musical for all ages about discovering that cool is where you find it, and sometimes where you least expect it.
