The Halloween Celebration at the Riverside Shopping Center in Belcamp went off without a hitch on Saturday, October 27, 2012. About 50 children participated in trick-or-treating the dozen stores in the center, followed by a Costume Contest at Klein’s ShopRite of Riverside.
The winning entries were:
Children’s Category: Marilyn Riedal as a Pumpkin Princess
Group Category: Andre and Atalia Richardson as Beauty and the Beast
Pet Category: Alex Brenner’s Little Mac as Frankenweenie
Teen/Adult Category: Sabrina Parker as a Cat
Prizes were donated by Riverside Shopping Center merchants and included Gift Certificates to Klein’s ShopRite, which also donated Trick-or-Treat bags and candy to all participants.
