I appreciate the Dagger publishing this report; I used to read it in the Aegis but they frequently run out of their allotted space and just stop printing reports after Fallston or Forest Hills.
It would be interesting to see the crime reports plotted on a map of the county, with different colors and shapes for suspicious people, shots fired, loud parties, etc. Maybe the sheriff’s department already does this; if so, please post the URL.
jj johnson says
I’m not sure how long you’ve lived in the area, but it is Forest Hill not Forest Hills. It usually easy to see the non-locals by adding an “s” to Forest Hill, spelling Abingdon as “Abington” (actually in PA), Harford as “Hartford” (actually in CT), and the multiple variants of Bel Air (Belair, Belle Aire, etc.). No offense intended, just informing. And if it was just a typo, then ignore it. It’s just Monday morning talking.
Pavel314 says
You mean they only got one hill in that forest up there? I have been seriously mis-informed!
A neighbor kid was attending Harford County Community College some years ago. When a girl asked him where he went to school, he answered, “Harford.” She replied, “Harvard? You must be real smart.”
Aaron Cahall says
The Sheriff’s Office uses a system called http://www.CrimeReports.com. Punch in your address and it’ll bring up a map of recent incidents of all kinds.
Pavel314 says
Thank you, the map is just what I wanted.
darlene says
Mowing the lawn…… really? Let our officers take care of real incidents.
Nix Applin says
Darlene more than likely that call was either after 11 p.m. or before 6 a.m.. I don’t add the times for the calls because that would take too long, but that unfortunately creates some confusion sometimes.
The Truth says
JJ, who really cares.
jj johnson says
You’re from Jersey, aren’t you?
Henkle says
JJ is the self avowed Grammar police didn’t you know.
snitch says
