Restraint Procedures…..so…”Higher Education” is now following the principles of our antiquated Penal System. I’m glad I don’t have children. And, if I did, they would be home schooled, learn the true History of this Constitutional Republic instead of this Socialistic Revisionist Liberal Junk that is taught today. We’re still only 1 generation from Slavery.
What the heck are you smoking? You seem like an angry person that needs some strong medication. Our school system is not socialist and I am glad you do not have children in my school. We teach our children to listen to adults and give the school permission to “correct” our children. Do you just want a school system to let the kids run wild? You would be the one to say, “How dare you correct my child!” I am sure you are the one on the plane with the crying child or the one in the movie theater that doesnt shut up, but dares anyone to say anything to your child. What does slavery have to do about it? You need a true lesson on what slavery was and this by no means is slavery. Again, you need help and make sure to get refills on your medication.
Parent,
I appreciate and agree with a lot of what you say but we already have a school system that just let’s the kids run wild. We can debate whose fault that might be, but nevertheless that is what we have.
An if slavery means we have to do and say what someone else demands that we do and say then we are closer now than we were 50 years ago, much closer.
Parent, you may want to revise your statement. Number one, the restraints/seclusions are in regards to children under special education, thus most of these kids have cognitive delays and communication problems. The majority of time, these children “act out” because they have no other way to communicate. Maybe the reason they had this meeting is because Harford County’s only school for special needs children was accused of illegal restraints in which the child was placed in a dangerous position, according to the police. We don’t allow the school to correct our children, they seem to take it upon themselves and then hide it from the parents.
Dear mother,
You seem to throw out accusations and comments, like you have an axe to grind. Maybe you should really search the facts, instead of making such a broad statement. The staff of that school are hard working,
caring educators, with students being the priority. The only thing hidden is your agenda. Shame on you
for being a fire starter.
