From Sen. Nancy Jacobs:
It’s being reported that repeat toll violators are racking up huge debts to the state and the Maryland Transportation Authority is not collecting the money. This is a travesty when others who do the right thing are being forced to pay higher tolls.
Last year I fought hard with the citizens of Harford and Cecil County to keep the toll increases at a minimum by developing the Hatem Bridge Only EZ Pass Plan. All over Maryland tolls went up and the second phase of that hike will soon be upon us. With that in mind, it is outrageous that repeat toll violators can rack up bills in the hundreds of thousands of dollars and that money isn’t being collected.
The MdTA must act immediately to remedy this problem.

How about we use the toll violation fines to build a 55+ mph EZPass lane on the Tydings bridge.
Coledata says
Observing from a distance, it is the absolute ineffiency of MdTA that is causing these problems.
It takes about 2 months for MdTA to issue a toll violation notice, and if you use the appeal procedure on the MdTA website it will probably be ignored.
There is something very unhealthy in administration withing the MdTA.

What else is new. In Dem controlled md we reward illegals, let convicted felons go w/a slap on the wrist .and won’ punish corruption in Annapolis
