From Maryland State Police:
Not only were the streets of Harford hot because of the extreme temperature, troopers were hot on the trail of traffic and criminal violators this past Friday (July 27).
Troopers continued to demonstrate their commitment for improving traffic safety and enforcing criminal violations in the county this past Friday evening. Troopers from the Bel Air Barrack were supplemented during this operation by troopers assigned to the Office of Strategic Planning, Information Technology Division, and troopers assigned to the Criminal Investigation Division (Gang Unit). In total, there were fifteen (15) additional troopers patrolling Harford County Streets during this operation. The following persons were arrested during the criminal and traffic initiative that was conducted between the hours of 2pm (Friday) to 3am (Saturday).
TRAFFIC ARRESTS:
1. Rachel L. Phillips, 30 yoa, Edgewood resident, arrested for DUI.
2. Jose E. Corea-Mejia, 41 yoa, Abingdon resident, arrested for DUI.
3. Deanna E. Myers, 40 yoa, Rickingham, NC resident, arrested for driving on a suspended license.
4. Juan Martinez, 38 yoa, Abingdon resident, arrested for DUI.
CRIMINAL ARRESTS:
1. One Juvenile, 17 yoa, Joppa resident, arrested for possession of CDS-marijuana.
2. Maya L. Farris, 18 yoa, Edgewood resident, arrested for theft.
3. Kenneth D. Pakulski, 31 yoa, Bel Air resident, arrested for possession of CDS-marijuana and paraphernalia.
4. Kevin L. Davis, 30 yoa, Perry Hall resident, arrested for possession of CDS-marijuana and paraphernalia.
5. Adam P. Meissner, 31 yoa, Towson resident, arrested for possession of CDS-marijuana and paraphernalia.
6. Jon R. Malone, 32 yoa, Edgewood resident, arrested on an open warrant.
7. James Sweed, 29 yoa, Oxford PA resident, arrested for possession of CDS-marijuana.
Additionally, troopers initiated more than 115 traffic stops, issuing 75 citations and 91 warnings.
This “Heat Wave” Initiative was one of the most productive operations in Harford County this year.
Additionally, there were no serious crimes or fatal motor vehicle crashes, during the hours of the initiative, which we attribute to the enormous emphasis on “high visibility” enforcement. Please monitor the Maryland State Police website (Bel Air Barrack) for updates on future initiatives.
But, I bet they wouldn’t have arrested “Stash”. Lord and behold look, they do arrest people for DUI afterall in Harford County.
Just because you don’t get transported to the Detention Center doesn’t mean you weren’t arrested. Police everywhere issue “Must Appear” citations every day of the week. That in itself is a Non-Custodial arrest. Hope I Clarified that for you Butter.
Oh Gosh, My mistake, it was a DWI. I guess you don’t arrest people for that either. Please, blow the smoke up someone else’s ARSE…….
Yeah, like DUI? They dont even go to the jail! Not much of a deterant IMO! Anyone picked up for drunt driving should land in the slammer! Get tougher on drunks!

How about you direct that toward the Judges that hand out the sentences Slim. You could benefit from some education on Drunk Driving laws and common police procedures. I’ll keep an eye out for those Drunt Drivers in the mean time.
