The Farmers Market is now open on Tuesdays in Bel Air. Located on the former bank site opposite the Court House. The Tuesday farmers market is open from 11 am to 2 pm
4th of July Activities.
Day long activities will take place at various venues around the county seat beginning with a pancake breakfast at Bel Air High School. The parade will follow the original route established in the mid 60’s, straight down Main Street. From the “flat iron corner” to Idlewild Street. Parade starts at 6 pm with fireworks after dark
Make it a safe holiday.
Troopers, deputies and municipal officers will be working radar and traffic enforcement this week as part of an enhanced effort to curb the multiple fatalities that has taken numerous lives since the first of the year. Be aware of your speed, especially in our neighborhoods, wear your seat belt and do not text and drive.
Community input meeting
(proposed Walmart)
A community input meeting is planned for July 19th from 6:30 to 8:30 pm to look at the proposed plans for a Walmart to be built on the vacant 33+- acre parcel at Plumtree and Rt 924.
The meeting is open to the public and will be held in the auditorium of Patterson Mill Middle/High School.
