Bel Air Downtown Alliance Kicks Off 2012 Season of Outdoor Movies at Shamrock Park

The Bel Air Downtown Alliance is very excited to announce the kickoff of the 2012 season of the Outdoor Movies at Shamrock Park and pleased to announce that this year’s events are being brought to you by Upper Chesapeake Health. On Friday, June 8th, one of Downtown Bel Air’s most beloved and family-friendly events returns to Shamrock Park. As Scott Walker, Executive Director of the Bel Air Downtown Alliance reports, “Every year we see anywhere from 200 to 500 folks out at the movies and the kids are just having a blast. Our sponsors and vendors are very supportive. They go above and beyond to provide a lot of fun activities for the kids. It really is just the best and most inexpensive opportunity for a family to have a ton of fun and enjoy an evening of movies under the stars.”

This FREE event is held twice a month, June through August, and features:

• Pre-Movie Entertainment, provided by Bel Air’s Cultural Arts Commission
• Face Painting from Bambini Family Entertainment
• FREE Popcorn, provided by Courtland Hearth & Hardware and David O’Dea State Farm Insurance
• Variety of FREE Children’s Activities
• Variety of Food Vendors
