From Harford County Public Schools:
On Friday, April 27, 2012, eight HCPS high schools competed in the 28th Annual Harford County Academic Tournament at Harford Community College.
Teams from Aberdeen, Bel Air, C. Milton Wright, Edgewood, Fallston, Havre de Grace, Joppatowne and North Harford high schools competed against each other, answering questions that ranged over the entire spectrum of a high school curriculum and also include a certain amount of current events, sports, and popular culture.
Aberdeen, Bel Air, C. Milton Wright and North Harford all advanced to the playoff round. At the end of the competition, Bel Air defeated North Harford in a close match to win its second consecutive championship.
