What are people talking about in Harford County and beyond? Get the edge on the conversation with “The Harford County Edge” – Harford County’s newest radio show on WAMD Radio 970 AM, powered by local news from The Dagger.
Set to launch on Friday, May 4th, “The Harford Edge” will come to you live, every Friday morning from 7:00 –8:00 a.m., featuring lifelong Aberdeen resident Mark Schlottman and me, Cindy Mumby of The Dagger. Together, we’ll host lively discussions and interviews with newsmakers from Harford County and beyond. Expect regular appearances by my Dagger colleagues, Brian Goodman and Aaron Cahall, and our Dagger columnists, who will talk about everything from local shopping and local eateries, to movies, books and more.
Our first guest on “The Harford Edge” will be Harford County Executive David R. Craig.
We thought it fitting to kick off this venture with Mr. Craig, who has been the county executive since 2005 and has deep roots in Harford County. A native of Havre de Grace, Craig has been the mayor of his hometown and an assistant principal in three Harford County Public Schools. He was later elected to represent the county in both the Maryland House of Delegates and the Maryland Senate, and served as president of the Maryland Association of Counties. We’ll ask Mr. Craig about the hot topics in Harford County, and get his thoughts about the future of the county and the state.
Dagger fans know that reader comments are always part of the story, so post your questions and comments here for Harford County Executive David Craig, or call in during the show at 410-306-6270. And don’t forget to tune in to “The Harford Edge”, Friday, May 4 from 7 – 8 a.m. on WAMD Radio 970 AM, live from Aberdeen.
