The Aberdeen City Council will introduce its proposed fical year 2013 budget and vote on adoption of an ordinance amending the city’s forest conservation standards during its Monday night meeting.
The state of Maryland requires that municipalities change their Forest Conservation Chapter to be in compliance with new requirements and the State statute. The full text of Ordinance No. 12-O-04, Forest Conservation, can be found here.
The city council will also recognize the state champion Aberdeen High School Lady Eagles Basketball Team and will receive a presentation on the Department of Housing and Urban Development’s Consolidated 5-Year Plan from Tiffany Robinson, Administrator for Community Development for Harford County Government.
Also on the agenda for Monday night is review of the preliminary site plan for a Royal Farms Store at 744 S. Philadelphia Boulevard and a bid award regarding the Aberdeen Proving Ground Wastewater Treatment Plant.
The meeting begins at 7 p.m. in Aberdeen City Hall.
